I have a few questions about the emulator I would like to attempt to get this up and running for myself.

Can I run this off an external hard drive like a Mybook or something like that connected to my laptop? Or do I need a dedicated windows 10 pc to run the emu and then log in to from my laptop and if so, what would be an ideal pc I see a lot of windows 10 desktops I can buy fairly cheap.

Also, what technical level does it take to set up something like this? I have read over the wiki and these forums is that all I need to know or is there a lot more involved?

Is there a Discord server I didn't see anything but maybe I missed it?

I've always had a fascination with EVE. I think the openness and the music I really love that music I listen to it on YouTube while I work.

Thank you for your time in reading this wall of text.

        Ahoy-hoy!
That depends on how would you like to run it. For beginners, we wholeheartedly suggest using docker build, since it does a lot of thinking and doing for user. It won't be running from an external drive, though - docker usually stores its volumes on system partition - but it doesn't take a whole lot of space.
Project is indeed quite technical, but if the goal is to at least set it up and fly around for yourself - docker build is there to make it as simple as entering 2 commands in the console.

And yep, we do have a discord server. Feel free to drop by and say hi 🙂
